Our Roots in Firewood & Tree Surgery
At our parent company, MB Trees, our roots run deep in Suffolk. For over 30 years, we have been a trusted Stowmarket tree surgery business, caring for trees and landscapes across the county and beyond. In the early days, alongside our tree surgery work, we began delivering locally produced firewood using timber from tree surgery waste and small-scale sustainable forestry thinning. As the tree surgery side of our business grew, the firewood operation took a back seat for many years, simply because it was so labour and time intensive.
But with the amount of waste timber we now produce, change was inevitable. We saw an opportunity to establish a dedicated firewood business, one committed to sustainability, efficiency, and keeping things local.

We pride ourselves on supplying high-quality, properly seasoned firewood that burns cleanly, efficiently, and safely. Every log is locally sourced and carefully processed at our yard. To achieve the perfect burn, our firewood is either air/solar dried or kiln-dried in our own wood-fuelled kiln, ensuring consistently low moisture content. The result is a hotter, longer-lasting fire with minimal smoke and residue, ideal for both open fires and wood burners.
